Introducing the Scorched Restomod: A Modern Twist on a Classic Ford Mustang

The automotive world is abuzz with excitement as Trick Rides, a renowned manufacturer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, unveils their latest masterpiece – the Scorched Restomod. This modernized version of a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a testament to the fusion of timeless design and cutting-edge technology.

At the heart of the Scorched Restomod lies a robust mechanical foundation. The vehicle is equipped with Toyo R888R tires, snugly fitted onto Forgeline wheels, and bolstered by Baer brakes. The front tires measure 315/30, while the rear gets super-wide 335/30 tires, ensuring a stable and powerful ride.

The Scorched Restomod's exterior is a spectacle to behold, with a full carbon-fiber body and widebody proportions that exude a sense of raw power. Thanks to the use of pre-peg carbon for the outer shell construction, the vehicle weighs approximately 600 pounds less, making it a nimble and agile Ford on the road.

Stepping inside the Scorched Restomod, one is greeted by a blend of retro and modern elements. High-back seating by TMI, Alcantara and leather upholstery, a digital display, and well-placed analog controls create an interior that is both nostalgic and contemporary. Custom-made carbon fiber doors add a touch of exclusivity to the cabin.

Under the hood, the Scorched Restomod offers a choice of V8 engines. Motorheads can opt for a supercharged 5.0-liter Ford Coyote, a Kaase 429 "Boss Nine," or a Ford Performance 427 variant, ensuring there's an option to suit every driving style.

The Scorched Restomod is more than just a restomod; it's a testament to the art of automotive craftsmanship. The vehicle, supplied by Roadster Shop, is a culmination of Trick Rides' expertise and their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. The Scorched Restomod is a must-see for any car enthusiast.
