Energiewende erFAHREN Bike Tour 2025: A Journey Across Germany's Energy Transition
The Energiewende erFAHREN bike tour is set to take place from August 31 to September 6, 2025, traversing Germany and highlighting the country's commitment to the energy transition. Organized by the Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien NRW (LEE NRW), the tour will cover approximately 645 kilometres, passing through North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Brandenburg before culminating in Berlin.

One such guided ride, the "Landpartie – Energie (er)fahren," takes place on August 31, 2025, near Marienfeld. The ride will visit the PaWA Bioenergie GmbH to learn about biomass energy, followed by a local café, a private wind turbine, and a closing event back in Marienfeld.
