Airbus Receives High Marks in the 2022 Corporate Equality Index by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation for its Commitment to LGBTQ+ Rights

Airbus Recognized as One of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality

Airbus, the global aerospace leader, has earned a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), demonstrating its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and promoting LGBTQ+ equality.

The CEI is the nation's foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality in the United States. This year, over 840 major U.S. businesses also earned top marks by promoting LGBTQ+-friendly workplace policies.

Airbus' dedication to LGBTQ+ workplace equality is evident in its efforts to satisfy the detailed criteria outlined in the CEI. The company engages in workforce diversity and inclusion programs aimed at increasing representation of women and minorities in technical and leadership roles. It also supports equal opportunity hiring and promotes inclusive cultures across its global operations.

The company's focus on supporting its teams is further evident in its range of inclusive benefits and a variety of employee resource groups. Airbus' company mindset aligns with its values, creating an environment where employees can bring their unique experiences and talents to work and thrive in a culture of acceptance and inclusion.

C. Jeffrey Knittel, Chairman and CEO of Airbus Americas, stated, "Airbus believes in providing an environment where employees can bring their unique experiences and talents to work and thrive in a culture of acceptance and inclusion."

Jay Brown, Human Rights Campaign Senior Vice President of Programs, Research and Training, praised Airbus, saying, "The Corporate Equality Index paves the way for countless LGBTQ+ workers in America and abroad to thrive and live life authentically."

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people, recognizes Airbus as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation sheds light on inequity and deepens the public's understanding of LGBTQ+ issues.
