Alexander Eberan Retires; Christian Sajowitz Takes Helm of Steiermärkische Sparkasse Vienna's Private Banking
Alexander Eberan, who has led Private Banking at Steiermärkische Sparkasse Vienna for five years and served on the board of Bankhaus Krentschker for eight years, is set to retire on November 1, 2025. Succeeding him is Christian Sajowitz, who will take the helm of the Private Banking division.
The Private Banking division in Vienna, established in mid-2020, has seen steady growth under Eberan's leadership. As he prepares to step down, the bank has appointed Sajowitz, who brings a wealth of experience from his roles at LGT Bank Austria, Creditanstalt, Bank Gutmann, and Schelhammer Capital Bank. Sajowitz will assume his new position on November 1, 2025.
Eberan's retirement marks the end of an eight-year tenure on the board of Bankhaus Krentschker and a five-year stint as head of Private Banking at Steiermärkische Sparkasse Vienna. Sajowitz's appointment signals a new era for the Private Banking division, with the bank confident in his ability to build on the growth achieved under Eberan's leadership.
