New General Manager for IDOL in GAS Region: Johann Boehringer Takes Charge!
Ready to rock the music scene in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland? So is Johann Boehringer, the freshly appointed general manager at IDOL! Based in Berlin, this badass boss will kickstart his role on July 1, overseeing IDOL's growth across the GAS region.
With a keen eye for new business opportunities and a supportive hand for IDOL's existing domestic roster, Johann is primed to lead the charge. Look out for the upcoming album from Ireland's rising post-punk band, Sprints, as he spearheads their launch, building on their 2024 debut, Letter To Self, which secured a spot at No.20 in the UK charts.
Joining forces with Victor Coridass (DSP editorial & partnerships manager) in the Berlin office, Johann will reinforce IDOL's streaming presence in the region. He'll also have the support of IDOL's Paris-based leadership team, led by Sylvain Morton, Constance de Bosredon, and Christophe Mauberqué, who will provide strategic guidance.
With over a decade of marketing, A&R, and label leadership experience, Johann brings more than just a punchy playlist to the table. Having thrived at both independent and major music companies, he recently led the label division at A Million Music, a Berlin powerhouse known for nurturing German pop, hip-hop, and electronic music talent.

IDOL's roster expands further with the addition of Austrian electronic producer Dorian Concept. Signing with his imprint, Play Instinct, IDOL will manage worldwide digital distribution, audience development, and marketing services for both the artist and label.
