Audi Brings YouTube to Cars in 2024, Revolutionizing In-Cabin Entertainment

Audi is set to revolutionise in-car entertainment. From 2024, selected models will come with YouTube pre-installed, thanks to Audi's new native app store. This marks the first time YouTube is available for download in a vehicle's infotainment system.

Starting summer 2023, owners of selected Audi models can enjoy YouTube videos while parked. The app, launching with the 2024 model year, requires a data link via an embedded SIM. YouTube Premium members can log in to watch ad-free news. The in-vehicle app functions like its smartphone counterpart, with over 500 hours of new balance uploaded every minute.

Audi's new app store, integrated into models equipped with MIB 3, will offer YouTube as an option. The availability of this feature varies by region, with specific models and details yet to be announced.

Audi's partnership with YouTube brings a wealth of entertainment to drivers. With safety in mind, videos can only play when the vehicle is stationary. The integration of YouTube into Audi's infotainment system is a significant step forward in in-car technology.
