David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter is one of the top critics on Rotten Tomatoes to give Little Lady a "fresh" review. In his review for Screen International, Grierson writes, "Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson deliver remarkable performances as these sexual rivals, each of their characters vying for dominance. However, the writer-director's broader ideas lack the intensity of the two leads' fiery chemistry."

Ryan Lattanzio of IndieWire also lauds Little Lady's two lead actors, writing, "Without Kidman delivering a fearless performance and Dickinson supporting her in pushing her to the edge, Little Lady wouldn't be as captivating as it is. This is a provocative, humorously dark, and daring creation. Don't overlook it."

Ben Croll of The Wrap wasn't as enamored with the film, writing in his review on RT, "Like a sheep in wolf's clothing, Halina Reijn's surprisingly tame Little Lady may bare the odd tooth, but it lacks any real bite."

Thelma Adams of AARP Movies for Grownups also gave Little Lady a "rotten" review on RT, writing, "It's the kind of movie where you can't help but chuckle your way through the numerous sex scenes, and pity poor [Antoni] Banderas, who has more untapped sexual appeal than the two leading actors combined."

In addition, Xan Brooks of The Guardian offered a "rotten" review of Little Lady on RT, writing, "Despite its excited sensuality and power struggles, the film's shocks feel carefully designed and lack depth."
