Baden-Württemberg Boosts Family Support in Rural Areas with €1M Investment
The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration in Baden-Württemberg is investing over €1 million to bolster family support in rural and disadvantaged areas. The funding will establish and expand 21 innovative family center projects, aiming to improve access to counseling and assistance for families in need.
Many families in rural areas and hotspots struggle to find suitable support. To address this, the ministry is funding projects that focus on creating new points of contact and expanding existing family centers. These projects share a common goal of promoting family strength and strengthening neighborhood support networks.
The Family Support Strategy Baden-Württemberg, a key initiative of the coalition agreement, has allocated €2.5 million for each of the years 2025 and 2026. This strategy aims to make access to advice and help easier for families across the state.
With the establishment and expansion of these 21 projects, the ministry seeks to enhance the lives of families in rural and disadvantaged areas. The funding will help create a robust network of support services, ensuring that families have access to the help they need.
