Belarus' 2025 Economy: High Salaries in IT, Finance, and Construction
Belarus' economic landscape in 2025 reveals a mix of high and average salaries across various sectors. The top-paying activities include Information and communication, Finance and insurance, and Construction. Meanwhile, the average salary in the country stood at 2762.7 rubles in August 2025.
In August, high average salaries were also recorded in sectors like Auxiliary financial services and insurance (5658.7 rubles), Mining industry (4790.8 rubles), and Chemical product manufacturing (4020.2 rubles). However, the highest-paying sector in 2025 remains unclear, with freight transport workers earning up to about €2,280.
The air transport industry boasts impressive salaries, with passenger air transport workers earning 9445.4 rubles and cargo air transport workers earning 5527.7 rubles. The leaders of the salary ranking are air transport workers (8890.6 rubles), closely followed by IT specialists (7197.6 rubles).
While the top-paying sectors in Belarus' 2025 economy are evident, the highest-paying industry remains uncertain. Air transport, however, stands out with its significantly high salaries, making it a notable sector in the country's economic landscape.
