Belarus, Russia Strengthen Transport Ties With New Agreement
Belarus and Russia have bolstered their lateral transportation ties during 'Transport Week' in Moscow. The Belarusian Minister of Transportation and Communications, Alexei Lahunovich, inked a pivotal agreement with Russian counterpart Vitaly Savelyev. Lahunovich, attending the Moscow event, held a bilateral meeting with Savelyev. The ministers delved into current issues of bilateral cooperation in the transportation sector, culminating in the signing of a protocol aimed at harmonizing the regulation of the transportation market within the Union State. The protocol, signed by Lahunovich and Savelyev, also commemorated the outcomes of implementing the union program on the transportation market, poised to fortify connectivity and efficiency between the two countries' transportation systems. The agreement signed during 'Transport Week' heralds a new era in Belarus-Russia transportation cooperation, slated to facilitate smoother and more efficient transportation between the two countries, benefiting both economies and citizens.
