Big partnership move as "Welcome to the Family" coupon promotion, the biggest yet, is rolled out by PAYBACK alliance

PAYBACK GmbH, Germany's leading bonus program, has announced the launch of its biggest campaign to date – the "Welcome to the Family" campaign. This historic event promises more coupons, offers, and prizes than ever before, as revealed by PAYBACK GmbH via news aktuell.

The campaign, developed by the advertising agency Heimat Berlin, is expected to issue around 100 million tickets. These tickets will be distributed to customers with every purchase made at participating companies during the campaign period, which runs from April 28th to June 1st, 2025.

Each ticket will contain two coupons. One coupon will be from the partner where the customer shopped, while the other will be from another PAYBACK partner. This dual-coupon system aims to provide customers with a diverse range of benefits and savings opportunities.

Florian Wolfframm, a member of the PAYBACK management, stated that the campaign aims to welcome EDEKA and Netto Marken-Discount joyfully, loudly, and with many benefits for customers. These retail companies are joining the Multipartner program under the PAYBACK system.

The PAYBACK app, used by 15 million users, bundles mobile point collection, redemption, coupon activation, and payment. It has been awarded "most customer-friendly app" (BILD) and "app with the greatest added value" (SZ).

Customers can enter winning codes from the PAYBACK app to secure additional offers, shopping vouchers, points, and even a BMW electric mini. The app is a crucial part of the campaign, providing a seamless and convenient way for customers to access their benefits.

94% of collected points are redeemed by customers, mostly directly with partners or for rewards. This high redemption rate underscores the value that customers find in the PAYBACK program.

With over 700 partner companies, PAYBACK offers customers significant savings each year. The program is a beloved part of the lives of over 34 million customers in Germany.

The campaign is being promoted across multiple channels and partners, including PAYBACK marketing channels, stores of participating partners, partner channels, and out-of-home advertising in Germany.
