Bridge Ludwigset to undergo final closures before reopening shortly
Commencing March 24th, extensive roadwork will take place as part of the extensive renovation of the Ludwigs Bridge in Munich. For five days, traffic on Steinsdorfstraße will be halted north of the Ludwigs Bridge.
Detour Routes for Motorists
During this period, motorists will be rerouted through Erhardtstraße, Ludwigs Bridge, Innere Wiener Straße, Max-Weber-Platz, and Maximilians Bridge to reach their destinations. For commuters heading towards Isarparallele, the detour will be through Zweibrückstraße, Thomas-Wimmer-Ring, and Maximilianstraße. All detours will be clearly signposted to facilitate navigation. Pedestrians and cyclists will have free access to all paths surrounding the construction site.
Nighttime Work and Bus Services
Additional roadwork will be undertaken at night, from March 31st to April 4th, between 10 PM and 5 AM. During this time, the entrance from Ludwigs Bridge to Zweibrückstraße will be closed. As a result, bus line 132 will be detoured via Corneliusstraße during these closures, with stops such as Boschbrücke, Ludwigsbrücke, and Isartor unavailable. However, traffic will remain unaffected during daytime hours. From April 4th, nighttime closures will be lifted, allowing normal traffic to resume.
