BSA releases the Bantam 350 in the UK, being the least expensive motorcycle in their collection
BSA Bantam 350 Remains Exclusive to Overseas Markets
The BSA Bantam 350, a bike that combines vintage style with modern-day road readiness, is expected to launch in overseas markets like the UK and Europe in 2026. However, the bike will not be introduced to the Indian market in the foreseeable future.
Classic Legends, the parent company of BSA, has explicitly stated that there are no plans to bring the Bantam 350 to India. This decision is reportedly to maintain the exclusivity and premium positioning of the BSA brand in India, avoiding dilution of its legacy with a smaller displacement bike.
The Bantam 350 shares the same platform as the Jawa 42 Bobber, including the chassis and a 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and meets Euro 5 emission norms. The engine produces approximately 22.5 hp and 28 Nm of torque, and it is tuned to suit the bike's relaxed roadster character.
The bike features an upright design with a teardrop fuel tank, classic wire-spoke wheels, and a round headlamp, all finished with chrome touches. The instrument console is a single-pod design that blends analog charm with a digital readout.
Meanwhile, Classic Legends is focusing on launching other models in India. The Scrambler 650 model is expected to launch by the end of 2025.
So, Indian enthusiasts should not expect the BSA Bantam 350 to be available domestically anytime soon. For those who are keen on the Bantam 350, they will have to wait for its launch in overseas markets.
