Anne Ausfelder, a seasoned professional in government relations and political communication, has joined SecurityTech company Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) as the Manager of Government Relations. Her appointment began on April 1.

Prior to her new role, Ausfelder's career did not involve working directly for G+D. She has, however, garnered extensive experience in strategic advising, advocacy, and communication roles, engaging with policymakers, stakeholders, and the public to shape and influence policy outcomes.

Ausfelder's previous roles include a stint at the Federal Cyber Agency, where she spent three years establishing the agency's political work. Before that, she was a consultant with the strategy consultancy Advice Partners, where she advised companies, associations, and organizations on political communication and strategic communication management.

In her new position at G+D, Ausfelder will be working directly with Benno Müchler, the head of G+D's headquarters, on political matters at both the national and EU levels. Her role will involve assisting Müchler in navigating complex political environments and shaping policy outcomes that align with G+D's interests.

Ausfelder's expertise in government relations and political communication is expected to bolster G+D's efforts in engaging with policymakers and stakeholders, thereby strengthening the company's position in the SecurityTech industry.
