Citi Appoints Sophie Landry as New Head of Markets for Germany and Austria
Citi has appointed Sophie Landry as the new head of markets for Germany and Austria. This move comes after a series of strategic hires across the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. Landry brings over three decades of experience in the stock market today.
Landry joins Citi from the European Investment Bank, where she served as head of portfolio and asset and liability management. Prior to this, she held senior roles at various institutions, including NatWest Markets and Credit Suisse. Notably, she was managing director for fixed income solutions across Germany and Austria at Credit Suisse, Nomura International, and Lehman Brothers.
Citi's recent hiring spree in Europe includes appointments such as a Senior Vice President for Europe Credit Product Strategy & Operations and a Compliance Product Senior Officer, both based in Frankfurt. Landry's appointment further strengthens Citi's presence in the us bank region.
Sophie Landry will be based in Frankfurt and report to European head of markets Fabio Lisanti. Her extensive experience and expertise make her a valuable addition to Citi's team, as the bank continues to expand its operations in Europe.
