Citroen Unveils New C3 and C3 Aircross at Westfield Stratford City

Citroen has made a significant move by premiering its latest offerings, the New C3 and the C3 Aircross, at Westfield Stratford City in East London. The French automaker's stand, part of a 15-month partnership with the location, is not a sales channel but rather a platform for customers to explore the Citroen brand universe.

The New C3, making its UK debut, is the latest iteration of the model that first appeared in 2013. The current C3 has been on the market for approximately four years, and the facelifted version goes on sale in the UK, with first deliveries due to customers in August. The starting price for the C3 Feel is £16,280.

The new C3 features a design inspired by the C4 Cactus, and it boasts a revised engine range. The stand also hosts the UK premiere of ConnectedCAM Citroen, an on-board HD camera for the new C3. Mounted in the rear-view mirror, this innovative feature can take stills or video at the press of a button.

Meanwhile, the C3 Aircross, which was previously the C3 Picasso, has been transformed and will also feature electric power. The new model, with its bigger, boxier design, will be on display until the New Year, showcasing a C4 Cactus-inspired makeover.

Besides Citroen, other automakers will be present at Westfield. Toyota, for instance, will showcase models including the new 2017 Toyota Yaris and the Toyota C-HR. Joining them are established brands like JLR and Hyundai.

Chris Cheetham, Marketing Director at Citroen UK, stated that the stand allows customers to explore the Citroen brand universe. The stand is intended to premiere New C3 in the UK and showcase the latest technological advancements, such as ConnectedCAM Citroen and the Citroen Advanced Comfort program.

The new Citroen C3 (2013) was competent in its Fiesta challenger role, but it is not particularly dynamic. However, with the latest updates and advancements, the new C3 and C3 Aircross promise to offer an exciting and comfortable driving experience for UK customers.
