Collaboration of Intesa (Kyndryl), SAP Concur, and Ccelera to streamline and digitize expense management systems

In a groundbreaking move, Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, SAP Concur, and Ccelera have announced a strategic collaboration to transform the expense management and receipts handling process. This partnership, slated to commence on October 23, 2023, aims to automate and streamline these tasks, thereby enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

SAP Concur, the leading global brand for integrated travel, expense, and invoice management, will leverage its expertise in artificial intelligence to power this initiative. The collaboration seeks to automate the extraction and validation of data from receipts using AI-driven OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, reducing manual data entry and minimizing errors in expense reporting.

The partnership will provide seamless integration with SAP Concur’s expense management platform, enabling faster and more accurate expense processing. It will also improve user experience by enabling employees to easily capture and submit expense receipts electronically. Moreover, the collaboration aims to deliver actionable insights through better data analytics, thereby optimizing expense workflows and compliance.

Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, brings a wealth of experience to the table. With over 20 years in providing compliant preservation services and accreditation as conservators by AgID since 2014 and qualified conservators since 2023, they ensure technological stability, security, and compliance. As an Adaptive Solution Provider in the field of business process digitization and fiduciary services, they offer modular solutions adaptable to global markets for over 35 years.

Ccelera, a consulting company that enables businesses to unlock their digital potential, will play a crucial role in designing the entire business experience through an innovative process that connects people and technology.

The new system will automatically extract expense reports and receipts from software, prepare them for digital archiving, and preserve them in compliance with regulations. Expense reports, containing financial and organizational data related to employee reimbursement for business trips, are classified as "fiscally relevant documents" and are subject to a mandatory retention period of at least 10 years.

SAP Concur solutions guide employees through business travel, move authorized expenses directly into expense reports, and automate invoice approval. The collaboration will allow companies using SAP Concur's management system to benefit from enhanced regulatory compliance, streamlined processes, and more precise cash flow management.

The innovative solution will be introduced in a free webinar scheduled for October 26, 2023, at 11:30. The registration link can be found on the specified page. Giuseppe Mariani, General Manager of Intesa, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that it will bring tangible benefits for companies seeking solutions to manage the entire life cycle of their employees' expense reports. Emmanuele Prudenzano, Partner at Ccelera, explained that the collaboration will offer an automated, fully digital, and paperless process that complies with Italian regulations.

As a certified B Corp, Intesa, a Kyndryl Company, is committed to using business as a force for good. This collaboration is a testament to their dedication to creating a more efficient, digital-first approach to expense management that saves time and reduces administrative burdens for organisations.
