Joseph Tan Jude Benny (JTJB) has announced the addition of Boon Tat Yeo as a senior partner, bolstering the firm's capabilities in the construction and infrastructure sector. Yeo will lead JTJB's newly launched practice, which aims to capture high-growth opportunities in regional projects.

Yeo brings over two decades of experience in complex disputes and non-contentious matters related to construction projects. His areas of expertise include tender documentation, contract preparation, procurement strategy, and project risk management. He has worked on public infrastructure, power plants, oil refineries, and commercial developments across Singapore, China, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Before joining JTJB, Yeo was a partner at Watson Farley & Williams for two years. Prior to that, he was a director at Quahe Woo & Palmer. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Pinsent Masons MPillay.

John Sze, managing partner at JTJB, stated that the addition of Boon Tat Yeo enhances the firm's capabilities and services. "Boon Tat's extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure sector will be invaluable to our clients. His leadership will help us offer end-to-end legal support for construction projects, not just in Singapore, but across the region," said Sze.

The new practice at JTJB will cover both contentious and non-contentious aspects of construction projects. This move reflects JTJB’s strategic move to support clients in construction and infrastructure projects across the region.

With the addition of Boon Tat Yeo, the number of partners at JTJB in Singapore has increased to eight. His joining JTJB marks a key milestone in the growth of the firm.
