Dairy exports from Kuban witnessed a significant increase, reaching double the volume, in the year 2025.

Dairy exports from Kuban region saw a substantial increase by twice in 2025.

In the agricultural heartland of Krasnodar, a notable increase in dairy and sausage product exports was observed in 2025, despite a decrease in overall agricultural exports, including feed and feed additives.

According to data provided by the Southern Regional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor, the Krasnodar region exported 2568 tons of dairy products in the first half of 2025, a two-fold increase from the same period in 2024 (1230 tons). The majority of these dairy products were shipped to Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, China, Germany, and Uzbekistan.

Similarly, the export of sausage products from the Kuban region saw a 5.5% increase in 2025, with most of the exports going to Abkhazia and Azerbaijan. The Southern Regional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor reported 580 tons of sausage products were exported in 2025, compared to 550 tons in 2024.

However, the export of feed and feed additives from the Krasnodar region saw a significant decrease in 2025. The region exported 44.9 thousand tons of feed and feed additives in 2025, a decrease of 2.7 times compared to the previous year (119.6 tons). The main recipients of feed exports from the Krasnodar region were Azerbaijan, China, and Turkey.

Interestingly, "Delovaya Gazeta.Yug" reported the increase in dairy product exports from the Krasnodar region in 2025, but did not mention the decrease in feed and feed additives exports. The Southern Regional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor did not provide data on the decrease in feed and feed additives exports from the Krasnodar region in 2025.

The reasons behind the increase in dairy and sausage product exports from the Krasnodar region are not explicitly stated in the current reports. However, industry trends suggest that enhanced domestic production capacity, state-supported agricultural growth programs, expansion of export markets, diversification of export destinations, and increased demand in Asia and Middle Eastern markets could be contributing factors.

The decrease in feed and feed additives exports from the Krasnodar region may have implications for the region's agricultural industry, as these are key components in the production of dairy and sausage products. Further investigation is needed to understand the reasons behind this decrease and its impact on the agricultural industry in the Krasnodar region.

The increase in dairy product exports from the Krasnodar region might have attracted investment from the finance sector, considering the profit potential in this trade growth. In a parallel scenario, the decrease in feed and feed additives exports could potentially strain the finance sector if it has substantial investments in the agricultural industry of the region.
