Dairy giants, Shreeja Milk and Mother Dairy, to Establish Processing Plants in Kuppam, Generating Approximately 8,000 Job Opportunities

On May 26, 2025, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced investments by Shreeja Milk Producer Company and Mother Dairy to establish new processing units in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh.

The projects, which align with the Chief Minister's vision of "Swarna Andhra" and the goal to achieve "Zero Poverty", aim to empower farmers and create sustainable livelihoods. Shreeja Milk Producer Company plans to establish a dairy and animal feed processing unit, while Mother Dairy will build a fruit pulp processing plant.

Both companies have been allotted land in Kuppam for these projects, with completion expected within 15 to 18 months. These initiatives are expected to create around 8,000 jobs in the region.

The government has urged both Shreeja Milk Producer Company and Mother Dairy to complete their projects within the next 15 to 18 months. The discussions between Naidu, Shreeja Milk Producer Organisation, and Mother Dairy were focused on their transformative investment plans.

The announcements are part of a larger agreement signed earlier with the Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA), focusing on inclusive development and industrial growth in the region. The details shared by Naidu on social media platform X emphasized the alignment of these initiatives with the vision for Swarna Andhra and the goal to achieve Zero Poverty.

These investments by Shreeja Milk Producer Company and Mother Dairy aim to strengthen the rural economy by directly procuring milk and horticulture produce from farmers, thereby enhancing their incomes. This will contribute significantly to the state government's efforts towards inclusive rural development and poverty reduction, supporting the broader goal of strengthening the rural economy in Kuppam.
