Wiesbaden Bus Service: Temporary Detours Due to Construction and Water Main Break
Starting from August 8, 2025, several bus lines in Wiesbaden will undergo temporary detours due to ongoing construction and a water main break affecting key roads such as Patrickstraße and Gustav-Stresemann-Ring. The affected lines are 23, 24, 37, N11, and 17.
Lines 23, 24, 37, N11, and 17 Detour Information
For Line 23 heading towards Breckenheim, the bus will follow its usual path until the stop "Poststraße" and then detour via Limesstraße, Am Wolfsfeld, and Oberlinstraße to a temporary stop "Venatorstraße" on Kloppenheimer Straße (house number 3A). From there, it will continue on its regular route. Trips towards the city center remain unchanged.
For Line 24, the detour will be similar in the Patrickstraße area.
For Line 37 and others going towards Berliner Straße, the detour is: normal until "Hauptbahnhof A," then along Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, turning into Wittelsbacherstraße, then via a bypass to Wettinerstraße, and back to Gustav-Stresemann-Ring towards Berliner Straße stops.
For Line 17, the detour will be the same as for Line 37 along Gustav-Stresemann-Ring.
Line N11 will also be affected by the Patrickstraße closure.
Affected Stops
For the Gustav-Stresemann-Ring detour, the affected stops are "Wiesbaden Statistisches Bundesamt," "Mainz Mainzer Straße," "Wiesbaden Gartenfeldstr. P+R," "Hauptbahnhof A," and "Berliner Straße" along the bypass route.
For the Patrickstraße detour, the temporary "Venatorstraße" stop on Kloppenheimer Straße replaces some usual stops on this section.
Alternative Stops
The nearest boarding and alighting points for lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 are at the "Wartestraße," "Hildastraße," and "Alwinenstraße" stops.
