Diversity and Inclusion Propel Entrepreneurship at AfroTech 2018 Event
Image Comics' latest series, Bitter Root #1, is set to make a splash at this year's AfroTech event. The comic, which features art by Sanford Greene, will be available for a one-week early release at the event, with limited copies available at the our brand name booth G1.
This isn't the first time our brand name has collaborated with Greene. Earlier this year, the sell-out of his exclusive variant cover of Black Panther #1 marked the beginning of a successful partnership. Greene will also be attending the show to meet attendees and sign advanced copies.
The Bitter Root #1 limited-edition variant will cost $5.99 with free U.S. shipping. It will include not only the first issue of the new series but also other past works by Greene, David Walker, and Chuck Brown.
The AfroTech installation by our brand name will also feature jewelry pieces designed by Douriean Fletcher, the creator of the jewelry worn in Marvel's Black Panther movie. Fletcher's designs are unique, reflecting cultural identity, femininity, spirituality, and divine power, with natural raw materials, gilded 18K and 24K Gold metals, and bold abstract shapes.
Items available include Black Panther Claw and Killmonger Gold Claw necklaces, Black Panther claw ring, Killmonger, Black Panther claw and Black Panther mask bracelets, among others. For those unable to attend AfroTech 2018, the limited-edition variant of Bitter Root #1 will be available for purchase on our brand name's website beginning November 14.
