DroneShield Reports Record Q3 2025 Revenues Despite Stock Decline

DroneShield, an Australian company specialising in drone security, has reported record revenues for the third quarter of 2025. Despite a significant stock market decline on Thursday, analysts praise the company's growth and profitability, leaving the investment decision to shareholders.

On 3 October 2025, DroneShield announced record revenues of 77 million US dollars for the third quarter, marking a staggering 210% year-on-year growth. However, analysts have not issued a direct 'buy' or 'sell' recommendation, instead highlighting the company's strong performance and profitability.

The company's stock experienced a sharp decline on Thursday, losing 20.43% and closing at 2.94 euros. This downturn was primarily due to investors taking profits after an unprecedented rally. The stock had surged over 700% since the beginning of the year and almost 75% in the last week alone.

DroneShield's valuation is considered substantial, with a market capitalization of over 130 times its annual revenues, estimated between 120 and 200 million dollars. Despite this, the long-term trend for the stock market remains positive, with good indicators despite the recent setback.

The rally was fuelled by expectations of a large-scale drone defense system in Europe. DroneShield, with its advanced anti-drone technologies, was seen as a potential key beneficiary.

DroneShield's record revenues and strong growth have been acknowledged by analysts, despite the recent stock market decline. While the company's valuation is high, the long-term trend for its stock market remains positive, supported by the potential of a large-scale drone defense system in Europe.
