According to a report by Economedia.ro, the current owners, Erdigama Limited and Koksi Holding Ltd, are based in Cyprus. Erdigama Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV), seems to be less publicly known, with Theodoros Loukaris as its director and Nikos Tsangararis as its secretary. Koksi Holding Ltd, owned by Cypriot entrepreneur Oksana Kushnir, is an investment vehicle active in markets such as Ukraine, the Baltic countries, Cyprus, and Hungary. Its portfolio primarily includes investments in real estate and energy-efficient technology production.
The new ownership structure has been established after Sunpro Group sold its stake, leaving Erdigama Limited and Koksi Holding Ltd to jointly own Sunpro Oils.
In a significant move, Sunpro Oils has received a construction permit for an edible oil factory in the Galati Free Zone in eastern Romania. The company announced in 2023 that it would invest EUR 20 million in this project, an investment expected to create over 200 jobs. The works on the factory are set to begin shortly.
