Ed Le Quesne House: Jersey's New 31-Unit Social Housing Success Story

Christians Together in Jersey Housing Trust has completed a 31-unit social housing development, Ed Le Quesne House, in Minden Place, New Jersey. The Chairman, Charles Thacker, marked the occasion by laying the ceremonial brick. Each tenant enjoys their own flat and access to a communal courtyard.

Ed Le Quesne House is designed to help residents transition from institutional living to independent living. The building offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, all finished to a high standard. Despite the site's challenges, including proximity to neighboring buildings and limited access, Andium Homes successfully developed the complex.

Three-quarters of the apartments are already occupied, with tenants expressing delight in their new homes. The building provides on-site caretakers available 24/7 to support tenants, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Ed Le Quesne House stands as a testament to the Trust's commitment to providing quality social housing. With its mix of apartment sizes, high standards, and supportive services, the development has quickly become a welcoming home for many residents in Jersey.
