Edna's CEO is Plum.
Richard Plum, a seasoned professional in the energy industry, has taken over as the manager of the edna Federal Association Energy Market & Communication, effective since February 1, 2023.
Plum's journey in the energy sector is marked by a diverse range of experiences. Before joining edna, he served as a Senior Consultant at ProCom (now Volue). Prior to that, he co-founded PSW Energy, a consulting firm for the energy industry, in 2022. This venture was undertaken alongside Burkhard Steinhausen and Thomas Westerhausen.
Plum's association with edna began in 2018 when he became a member of its board. His commitment to the organisation has been steadfast, and he has been a lecturer at the Department of Energy Technology at FH Aachen since 2020.
Plum's new role marks the end of Rüdiger Winkler's tenure, who has been in the position since 2009. Winkler's contributions to edna over the years have been significant, and he leaves the organisation in capable hands.
