EGN Names Dr. Inge Hohrath as New Operational Manager
EGN has announced a significant change in its leadership. Dr. Inge Hohrath, a 48-year-old married mother of two from Düsseldorf, will take over operational management of the company alongside Stefan Visser starting February 1, 2026. The current president, Pierre Vincent, will step down by April 30, 2026, after a decade-long tenure.
Dr. Hohrath brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She began her career at Ernst & Young, focusing on auditing mid-sized companies and later banking. She then moved into leadership roles in finance at the RWE group, most recently serving as Vice President Accounting at RWE's trading subsidiary, Supply & Trading. Later, she served as CFO at Crespel & Deiters, a leading producer in the starch industry.
Kerstin Abraham, Chairwoman of EGN's Supervisory Board, praised Dr. Hohrath's diverse profile and experience in both the energy sector and manufacturing industry. Despite extensive searches, no information was found about the president of the board who will take over operational management of the company as of February 1, 2026.
Dr. Inge Hohrath's appointment signals a new era for EGN. Her varied experience and leadership roles make her well-suited to lead the company alongside Stefan Visser. Meanwhile, Pierre Vincent's departure after 10 years marks the end of a significant chapter in EGN's history.
