Statoil, now known as Equinor, is prioritising improvements in project management for its Dudgeon offshore wind farm. The company has also expressed interest in supporting local programmes in the region and keeping costs down for the project's success.

Equinor is exploring ways to install larger turbines at the Dudgeon site, aiming to maximise energy output. The company has engaged with North Norfolk District Council to discuss potential local initiatives related to the project. Typically, offshore energy projects involve local businesses and community programmes during their development and operation.

Industry players, including those at the SNS2013 conference, recognise the importance of cooperating with local firms and communities to create job opportunities in the offshore energy sector. Equinor has stated that commercial criteria for the Dudgeon project should align with those of fsa schemes. Major contracts for the Dudgeon offshore wind farm are expected to be awarded next year.

Equinor's Dudgeon offshore wind farm project is set to benefit from improved logistics and potential local support. The company's focus on cost efficiency and cooperation with local businesses and communities is expected to drive the project's success and contribute to the region's economy.
