Estonia Unveils €10 Billion Defense Modernization Plan
Estonia has announced a comprehensive €10 billion defense modernization plan, set to be completed by 2029. The ambitious project aims to enhance the capabilities of the Estonian Defence Forces across all branches, focusing on areas such as air defense, drone technology, artillery, engineering, and maritime surveillance.
Key Elements of the Modernization Plan
The plan includes the creation of an artillery regiment to bolster Estonia’s firepower and long-range strike capabilities. Engineering units will also be improved to enhance operational capabilities.
