Expanded Lineup of Best Choice Own Brand Products at Associated Wholesale Grocers Highlighted by Pets and Infants

In a move to cater to the growing demand for premium and eco-conscious goods, Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) has launched two new private label brands: Pure Wonder for pets and Hello World for baby care.

The Pure Wonder brand offers a variety of products for cats, dogs, and birds, with a focus on providing improved health content for pets. The brand's wet food for cats and dogs comes in pouches that can be easily opened and used as the pets' main food or added to kibble. Notably, the wet food products have been reformulated to a better-for-you ingredient standard.

Pure Wonder's pet food line, which includes 11 new wet cat-food products and 11 new wet dog-food items, many of which will be offered in variety packs, is backed by a 100% guarantee. This allows customers to try the new products at no risk. The packaging design for Pure Wonder, done by Daymon Design, aims to stand out on shelves.

AWG's other new private label brand, Hello World, was developed in the baby category to serve as an expert in baby care with quality and advanced technology. The brand's products are designed with the emotional nature of purchases in the baby category in mind, aiming to provide consumers with products they can trust.

The packaging of Hello World communicates the quality of the products and shows value to shoppers. A suite of marketing and promotional support has been created for AWG member retailers to help Hello World stand out on shelves.

AWG's private label strategy is driven by a commitment to ethical sourcing, quality, sustainability, and meeting modern consumer expectations for natural, luxurious, and responsibly-made products. This aligns with the growing demand for premium and eco-conscious goods.

In addition to these new private label brands, AWG's existing private label brand, Best Choice, includes over 3,300 products and offers savings of 20% over national brands.

Meanwhile, Dollar General is partnering with celebrity brands to support its growth strategy for nonconsumable categories, while Target is aiming to provide relief and reassurance to price-weary shoppers during the back-to-school shopping season.

The development of Pure Wonder was inspired by the growth in the number of pets in households and the humanization of pets in recent years, indicating a focus on meeting the needs and desires of pet owners.
