High-Pressure Gas Network Optimization: Creos Deutschland GmbH is enhancing its gas network infrastructure between St. Ingbert East and Rohrbach, while also upgrading the network between St. Ingbert.

Expansion of Gas Infrastructure in St. Ingbert's vicinity continues.

Creos Deutschland GmbH is initiating preparatory work for optimizing its high-pressure gas network in the regions between St. Ingbert Ost and Rohnbach, as well as between St. Ingbert Nord and Sulzbach. Beginning early October, clearing operations will take place in the Wombacher Weiher area towards B40 St. Ingbert-Rohrbach, along Franzosengraben up to Poensgen-und-Pfahler-Straße, and between Sulzbach's Obere Anlage and Schüren L112 Elversberger Str. (St. Ingbert Nord). The construction site will be set up as a mobile one, which could lead to temporary closures of forest trails.

These preparations are in anticipation of the actual deep construction and pipeline laying, slated to commence in early 2024. Individuals can track the progress of the construction site via Creos Deutschland GmbH's website at https://www.creos-net.de/bauvorhaben/baumassnahmen.

By 2030, Creos Deutschland GmbH aims to achieve its objective network, transforming its historically developed gas network into an efficient and modern one. This includes continuous construction measures throughout its network in Saarland and parts of Rhineland-Palatinate to fulfill this goal. The target network 2030 will enable secure, affordable, consumer-friendly, environmentally friendly, and long-term reliable gas supply. In the context of energy supply restructuring, the pipelines will be designed to accommodate transport of climate-neutral gases such as hydrogen-containing gases, biomethane, and synthetic methane.

The North bypass St. Ingbert encompasses works northeast of Rohrbach, north of St. Ingbert, east of Neuweiler to the eastern city limit of Dudweiler. The works are carried out in a total of five construction phases, with two already in operation. The entire project is expected to be completed by 2025.

Project planning, execution, and environmental impact assessments are crucial elements of infrastructure projects like the North bypass St. Ingbert. Special environmental considerations may be necessary for areas like Wombacher Weiher to minimize ecological disruption. For specific details on the North bypass St. Ingbert project, contacting Creos Deutschland GmbH directly or checking official project updates is advisable.

  1. In order to achieve its goal of transforming its gas network by 2030, Creos Deutschland GmbH is actively considering the renewable-energy sector, planning to design their pipelines to accommodate transport of climate-neutral gases such as hydrogen-containing gases, biomethane, and synthetic methane.
  2. To finance the optimization of its high-pressure gas network, Creos Deutschland GmbH is likely seeking investments from the finance industry, as they anticipate continuous construction measures throughout its network in Saarland and parts of Rhineland-Palatinate.
