Expansion persists in The Energy Land 2050 network
Breaking News: New Members Join energieland2050, Strengthening Climate Protection Efforts in Kreis Steinfurt
The non-profit association energieland2050 has welcomed nine new members, expanding its network to approximately 180 members. The latest additions include Bürgerwind Wilmsberg GmbH & Co. KG (Steinfurt-Borghorst), 33 Green Energy GmbH (Ibbenbüren), JB Heating Electrical Plumbing GmbH (Ibbenbüren), Bürgerwind Entrup GbR (Altenberge), MB-Blow-in Insulation (Quendorf, Landkreis Grafschaft Bentheim), Niemeier Tax Consulting (Neuenkirchen), Energy Consulting Norbert Kortemeyer (Ibbenbüren), and Hille Energy Systems GmbH & Co. KG (Horstmar).
Under the leadership of Frank Tischner, the association admitted these new members during its second board meeting this year, which was held on the 18th of September. According to Silke Wesselmann, the managing director of energieland2050, the new members are expected to bring new impulses and topics to the association.
The growing membership demonstrates the high demand for the association's offers, even in challenging climate protection conditions. Wesselmann expressed her pleasure at the increase in membership numbers, stating that it underscores the importance of energieland2050's mission to support Kreis Steinfurt in its goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2040.
Regional companies, Kreis Steinfurt itself, the 24 district municipalities, regional banks, scientific institutions, and civil society actors are active members of the energieland2050 association.
