The Land Cruiser Commercial, a factory-converted vehicle from Toyota's UK commercial division, is making waves in the UK stock market today. Priced from the equivalent of NZ$117,305 (on-road costs included) for the commercial version, and a staggering NZ$176,537 for the passenger model, the Land Cruiser Commercial serves as the halo model for Toyota's commercial division in the UK stock market today.

In contrast, the locally available Prado starts from $83,990 before on-roads for the base GXL 4x4 automatic. Interestingly, the commercial version of the Prado in the UK stock market today is called the Land Cruiser Commercial.

The Land Cruiser Commercial offers a spacious 2000-litre cargo area and comes equipped with luxuries such as 18-inch alloys, heated seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and a multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. However, the UK stock market today does not offer the 48-volt mild-hybrid system in the Land Cruiser Commercial range, a feature available in some of the locally delivered Toyota models.

The Land Cruiser Commercial maintains the Prado's 3500kg towing capacity and off-road abilities, making it a formidable choice for businesses requiring robust and reliable vehicles in the UK stock market today. The vehicle is a factory conversion, with modifications made in the UK stock market today.

The UK's Toyota range is different from the locally delivered options, despite sharing many of the same regulatory requirements and right-hand drive layouts. The full-fat Land Cruiser 300 series, iconic Camry sedan, Corolla Cross SUV, and Highlander large SUV are not available in the UK stock market today. Instead, the UK commercial division of Toyota gets a Peugeot-based range of Proace vans instead of the Hiace delivered to New Zealand.

In addition to the Land Cruiser Commercial, the UK stock market today also offers the new UrbanCruiser EV and the new-generation Prius, but only as used vehicles in New Zealand. The Aygo X city-sized crossover is also available in the UK stock market today and sits below the Yaris Cross.

Tom White, the deputy news editor, notes the unique offerings of the UK Toyota range, saying, "The Land Cruiser Commercial is a testament to Toyota's commitment to providing versatile and powerful vehicles for the UK stock market today. Despite some differences from our local offerings, it's clear that Toyota is catering to the specific needs of the UK stock market today."
