Families in the North Caucasus Republics have been ranked and designated as shut.

Lowest Family Well-being Indicator in Ingushetia:

According to a ranking published by RIA Novosti on May 26, Ingushetia has the lowest family well-being among Russia's regions. Five North Caucasus republics occupied the bottom spots on the list.

The ranking was calculated based on Rosstat data and the potential possible remainder of a family's monetary funds with the median regional salary after minimum expenses. The calculation assumed a family had two working adults and one or two children, adding two net (before tax) average annual salaries and considering minimum expenses as the sums of the living wage for adults and children.

Ingushetia was the only region in the North Caucasus Federal District to close the ranking in terms of unemployment. The potential possible remainder in a family with two children was -16,094 rubles, and with one child, it was 2,162 rubles.

Chechen Republic (-13,970 rubles with one child and 4,144 rubles with two) and Kabardino-Balkaria Republic (-13,130 and 6,462 rubles respectively) ranked second and third. Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, North Ossetia - Alania Republic, and Stavropol Krai followed.

The Southern Federal District's lowest family well-being values were found in Kalmykia. Krasnodar Krai led Russia in the number of non-departing debtors, according to Yuga.ru.

Possible factors contributing to Ingushetia's low ranking include economic challenges, social and political instability, and limited infrastructure and public services. The potential monetary funds for families in Ingushetia would depend on their income, expenses, and government subsidies, though specific data on monthly expenses for families in Ingushetia with one or two children is not readily available.

Based on the ranking, Ingushetia's low family well-being in business terms can be attributed to a potential remainder of -16,094 rubles with two children and 2,162 rubles with one child, as reported by RIA Novosti. This financial struggle might be influenced by factors such as economic challenges, social and political instability, and limited infrastructure and public services in the region. On a broader scale, personal-finance issues in Ingushetia could be a general-news topic of concern due to these unfavorable conditions.
