Finnair Considers Order of Up to 30 Narrow-Body Aircraft
Finnish airline Finnair is considering a major order of up to 30 narrow-body aircraft. CEO Turkka Kuusisto has announced the potential purchase but has not yet decided on the aircraft manufacturer.
The exact number of aircraft to be ordered has not been finalised. Finnair aims to make a decision by the end of the year. Two leading manufacturers, Airbus and Boeing, are in the running.
Airbus offers the A320neo family, known for lower fuel costs and modern technology. The range includes the A319neo, A320neo, and A321neo. Boeing, on the other hand, presents the 737 MAX series, a modern version of the classic 737, also praised for its efficiency. The series includes the 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 8, and 737 MAX 9. Both manufacturers can meet large orders and provide customised options to suit Finnair's specific needs and route requirements.
Finnair's potential order of up to 30 narrow-body aircraft is still under consideration. CEO Turkka Kuusisto has not yet determined the chosen manufacturer, with Airbus and Boeing currently in the running.
