French Firm Découpe H2O Boosts Capabilities with 6000W Fiber Laser & Water Jet Cutter

A French company, not named in search results, acquired a powerful 6000 watt fiber laser machine and a large water jet cutter in 2019. These advanced tools are now part of their Brognard, France, operations.

Founded in 2009, Découpe H2O specializes in waterjet cutting, sheet metal work, and mechanical welding. They serve the automotive industry, offering assembly studies based on prototypes. The company employs 12 permanent staff members.

In 2013-2014, Découpe H2O started manufacturing small stamping parts, leading to investments in modern dimensional metrology tools. They acquired a Tigo SF 3D coordinate measuring machine and an articulated-arm measuring device with PolyWorks|Inspector software. The company also owns a dual action stamping press, three machining centers, an electrical discharge machine, and dimensional control systems.

Their cutting capabilities are impressive. They have two ultra high-pressure waterjet cutting centers and a 2- to 6-axis laser cutting center. The 6000 watt fiber laser machine and a 2.50 m × 4 m water jet cutter with a cutting depth of several hundred millimeters allow them to handle large and complex projects.

With its advanced machinery and skilled workforce, Découpe H2O is well-equipped to handle diverse manufacturing needs, particularly for the automotive industry. Their investments in cutting-edge technology ensure high-quality products and services.
