Fresh momentum begins at Bürgel with the launch of a new trade association
New Leadership for Business Association Bürgel aktiv e.V.
The Business Association Bürgel aktiv e.V. has announced a change in leadership, with Salvatore Lista and Thorsten Stedtfeld taking the helm. The exact roles of Lista and Stedtfeld within the association are not yet clear, but they have emphasized their commitment to working together effectively for Bürgel.
Salvatore Lista, the new 1st Chairman, has been running the popular Eiscafé Triangolo in Offenbach-Bürgel for the past ten years. Known for its homemade Italian ice cream, the café attracts numerous guests, especially in the summer. Now, under Lista's leadership, the Eiscafé Triangolo will serve as a meeting point for the association.
Thorsten Stedtfeld, the 2nd Chairman, is a personal trainer and manages the fitness room at TSG Bürgel. He has been closely connected to Bürgel through sports for years, despite living in Rumpenheim.
The association, founded in 1979, has continuously developed over the decades and currently has 70 member companies. These range from specialized shops to service providers and craft businesses, reflecting the economic vitality of Bürgel.
The diversity of members is mirrored in the association's activities. The popular shopping guide "Lokal Genial" will be published three times a year to present Bürgel's businesses, service providers, and craft businesses. The traditional spring and Christmas actions, as well as the Bürgeler market on September 21, will continue to be organized by an experienced team.
A special surprise is planned for the traditional spring action, details of which will be announced in the coming weeks. The spring action, organized by the new leadership, will also reward loyal customers of Bürgel's retail and local businesses.
Wilma Brandner, the long-standing chairwoman, handed over her position after 19 years in a ceremonial manner to her successors. The association looks forward to continuing its development under the new leadership of Lista and Stedtfeld.
