German branch of PwC enhances corporate finance advisory by onboarding Andres Middelschulte as partner in Debt & Capital Structure Advisory division.
PwC Germany is strengthening its Corporate Finance business with the appointment of Andres Middelschulte as a new partner. Middelschulte brings over 20 years of experience in advising complex debt and equity transactions, combining expertise from consulting and investment roles at renowned firms.
Middelschulte's team will focus on addressing the opportunities and challenges of the current market phase, particularly the fragmented capital sources, new private debt providers, and increasing regulatory requirements. The Debt & Capital Structure Advisory team will ensure a close connection to the Tax and Legal services for comprehensive advice throughout the entire corporate lifecycle.
PwC Germany aims to position itself as an independent partner in capital structure and transaction matters. The team's approach includes an integrated Debt & Capital Structure Advisory that ranges from classic bank financing to private credit and hybrid structures. This integrated advisory platform covers growth financing, refinancing, acquisitions, shareholder changes, and restructurings.
The Debt & Capital Structure Advisory team will be closely integrated with other PwC Deal Advisory teams, including M&A, Valuation, Performance & Restructuring, and Strategy&. This collaboration aims to provide access to future-proof capital structure solutions for clients.
Andres Middelschulte will be in charge of building and strategically developing the Debt & Capital Structure Advisory team. His deep understanding of the requirements of institutional capital providers and entrepreneurial decision-makers allows him to develop and implement individually tailored financing and capital structure solutions.
