From subways running every 100 seconds like clockwork to on-the-spot passenger information on ferries, to blending bikes with public transportation, Hamburg offers a taste of what's promising in public transit and what's just on the horizon.

The congress lasts till Wednesday, also hosting a trade fair with over 350 exhibitors. Attendees get a chance to check out these exhibitors' latest offerings, whether that's products or services. Expect a diverse crowd of thought leaders all the way from Chile, France, USA, South Africa, UK, India, Denmark, and Morocco, to name a few.

This grand gathering is orchestrated by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), with headquarters in Brussels. It boasts around 1,900 transport companies from a global reach as members, a large portion of them self-proclaimed public transport operators.
