Position: Public Servants (multiple spots available)

Location: Cebu City

Employment Type: Full-Term Public Office

Salary: Starts at ₱196,199 per year for Mayors ( salary grade 30), and ₱154,320 per year for Vice Mayors, as mandated by the Philippine government compensation standards

  2. Registered voter in Cebu City
  3. Resident of Cebu City for at least a year before the election
  4. Able to write in Filipino or any other local language or dialect
  5. At least 21 years old on Election Day

As for the key responsibilities you'd be shoulder-ing, our chosen leaders will be expected to:

  • Provide executive leadership in the city's governance, operations, and development programs
  • Oversee all projects, services, and activities of the City Government

  • Promote economic growth, public safety, healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability
  • Engage with people from all walks of life, listen to different sectors, and implement inclusive policies especially for farmers, fisherfolk, youth, women, and the elderly
  • Serve as symbols of unity and accountability for the Cebuanos

Oh, and did we mention it's crucial you have a general knowledge of RA 3857, the Revised Charter of the City of Cebu? This law establishes the governmental structure, powers, and administrative framework of our fair city, so it's kinda important you're up-to-speed.
