Infiltrator scales a building's support beam
A 41-year-old German man has been arrested and charged following an alleged break-in and theft in Elberfeld. The incident took place on a rooftop terrace of a residential building on Tannenbergstraße, where the suspect is said to have forced his way into an apartment.
According to reports, the suspect allegedly stole several items, which were later discovered near the scaffolding on the same street. A backpack filled with stolen goods was found in the vicinity, believed to belong to the suspect.
The man was apprehended by the police and presented to the responsible judge on Friday, August 29th. The search results do not provide information about the defence attorney who represented the man at this hearing.
The prosecution requested the judge to order the suspect's detention, and if convicted, the 41-year-old faces a prison sentence of one to ten years.
