INOX Air Products Launches Semiconductor Gas Plant in Dholera, India

INOX Air Products has started constructing a specialty gas plant in Dholera, India. The facility, slated to open within 12 to 18 months, will provide ultra-high-purity gases essential for the semiconductor industry, backing Tata Electronics' upcoming $11bn semiconductor fab in collaboration with Taiwan's Powerchip.

The plant will produce nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and hydrogen, all critical for semiconductor manufacturing. INOX Group's Managing Director, Siddharth Jain, anticipates the plant to be operational within a year and a half. This project is a joint effort between INOX Air Products, Tata Electronics, and Taiwan's Powerchip, with Linde also participating in the planning stages. The plant aims to cater to the increasing demand for ultra-high-purity gases in the semiconductor industry.

INOX Air Products' new plant in Dholera will substantially contribute to India's semiconductor industry. Once operational, it will supply ultra-high-purity gases to Tata Electronics' and Powerchip's semiconductor fab, enhancing their production capacities.
