Interest Rates on National Deposits Resume Increasing Trend

In a recent update, Belarusian banks have announced changes to their deposit product rates in Belarusian rubles.

Pariete Bank has modified the interest rates for two of its Belarusian ruble deposit options. The "Without Early Withdrawal Online" deposit now offers a 13.6% annual return for a 13-month term, an increase of 0.1 percentage points. Conversely, the "Stable Income" deposit decreased to 13.5% for the same 13-month term, also a decrease of 0.1 percentage points.

Neo Asia Bank has increased rates for its deposits in the national currency. The "Neo Without Early Withdrawal" deposit now yields 12.8% and 13.6% annual returns for terms of 3 and 6 months, respectively. Similarly, the "Neo Without Early Withdrawal Online" deposit now offers 13% for a 3-month term and 13.8% for a 6-month term. Notably, the 9-month option has been removed from these deposits, while an 18-month term with a 15.29% annual return has been added.

As interest rates for deposits in Belarusian rubles can vary between banks, terms, and deposit amounts, consumers are encouraged to consult the official websites of Pariete Bank and Neo Asia Bank or financial market aggregators specializing in Belarusian banking products for the most accurate and up-to-date deposit rates.

The banking-and-insurance sector in Belarus, following the recent rate changes, sees Pariete Bank adjusting the returns for two of its Belarusian ruble deposit products, while Neo Asia Bank increases rates for selected terms and introduces a new 18-month option. In the business of finance, consumers are advised to keep track of deposit rates offered by banks like Pariete Bank and Neo Asia Bank, or consult financial market aggregators for the best deals.
