Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin, known for its unique flavor profile and eco-friendly packaging, is crafted using rainwater and 12 botanicals sourced from Northeast India. The gin is packed in sustainably-minded stainless steel bottles, reflecting the brand's commitment to environmental consciousness.
Vertices Partners, a leading advisory firm, advised Raincheck Earth Private Limited during the fundraise. Vinayak Burman, Founder and Managing Partner of Vertices Partners, provided strategic inputs for the transaction. The funding round saw participation from two Japanese investors and the existing investor, AngelList India Syndicate.
The brand's future strategy focuses on leveraging its distinctiveness—its unique flavor profile, sustainable packaging, and regional botanicals—to deepen market penetration. Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin has already gained global recognition, having won the prestigious Double Gold Medal at the 2025 Spirits International Prestige (SIP) Awards. This award underscores their commitment not only to quality but also to showcasing the indigenous ingredients and culture of Northeast India.

The transaction team at Vertices Partners was led by Vikrant Anand (Partner), with Anushree Pathak (Senior Associate) providing support. Nishtha Khandelwal (Associate) was also part of the team. The ABV of Cherrapunji Eastern Craft Gin is 42.8%.
As Raincheck Earth Private Limited moves forward with its expansion plans, the company is set to scale the availability of its gin, further solidifying its position in the premium craft spirits market.
