The Market Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of their assigned sector, including strategic direction, reporting, budgeting, impact measurement, and knowledge management. This role reports to the Country Manager, CAM, Nepal.
The Finance Officer (CASA)-1 position is designed to ensure smooth functioning of the CASA programme through proper accounting and finance functions. The required education for this role is a Chartered Accountant or at least a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting or finance. The required experience is at least 3 to 4 years in the accounting/finance field, preferably in the development cooperation field with donor agencies.
The CASA programme, funded by DFID, aims to demonstrate the benefits of increased sustainable investment in agribusinesses with smallholder supply chains. It seeks to enable the involvement of poorer smallholders in those supply chains, contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth, create decent jobs, and catalyze sustainable improvements in incomes for smallholder farmers. Additionally, the CASA programme also aims to contribute to food and nutrition security, gender equality, and climate change resilience.
