Kazakhstan's Inflation Hits 12.9% in September 2025
Kazakhstan's inflation rate has risen to 12.9% in September 2025, according to the country's statistics agency. This acceleration follows a steady increase in prices for food, non-food products, and paid services.
Food products saw a 12.7% annual increase, with a monthly rise of 0.9% in September. Non-food products also increased by 10.8% annually, with a monthly rise of 1.5% in September. Paid services saw a significant 15.3% annual increase, and a 1% monthly rise in September.
Contributing most to the annual inflation rate were food and non-alcoholic beverages, housing services, and healthcare. The monthly inflation rate in Kazakhstan increased from 1% in August to 1.1% in September.
