LBBW Appoints Moritz Kraemer as New Head of Research and Chief Economist
LBBW has appointed Moritz Kraemer as the new head of its Research department and Chief Economist, effective November 15th. Kraemer brings a wealth of experience in ratings and sustainability, aligning with LBBW's focus on responsible investing.
Kraemer's impressive career spans two decades. From 2001 to 2018, he worked at S&P Global, rising to become the Global Chief Ratings Officer. His expertise in ESG topics is particularly relevant, given LBBW's strategic emphasis on sustainability.
Currently, Kraemer serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Scope Ratings and Chief Economist at CountryRisk.io. He also advises the consulting firm Acreditus. LBBW board member Christian Ricken praised Kraemer's ability to simplify complex economic topics, making him an excellent fit for the role.
Kraemer succeeds Uwe Burkert, who has moved to the board of the Kreissparkasse Waiblingen. LBBW Research, with over 50 analysts and 30 publications, will benefit from Kraemer's leadership and insights. His appointment signals LBBW's commitment to strengthening its research capabilities and supporting sustainable investing.
