Local Resident Tricked by Artiflex Services in Emergency Koi Pond Scam
Astrid Huser, a local resident, has fallen victim to a deceitful company operating in the region. The company, later identified as Artiflex Services GmbH, exploited her emergency situation for financial gain.
Astrid's koi pond filter system malfunctioned, leaving her fish in distress. Two men, claiming to be from a local, known company, arrived at her home and began work on the pond. They presented themselves as working with Express Handwerk GmbH, whose headquarters are now in Cham, following the disappearance of Artiflex Services GmbH from craft service portals.
After three hours, the men presented a bill for 9739 francs. Shocked, Astrid realized she had been deceived. The bill was issued by Artiflex Services GmbH, a company unknown in the region. Feeling pressured, she paid the bill, only to discover she had been taken advantage of.
Christian Brogli, spokesman for Suissetec, confirms that such companies, operating on the border of legality, prey on people in emergencies. Roger Eschmann, a locksmith with nearly 40 years of experience, considers the scam criminal and damaging to the reputation of legitimate republic services.
Artiflex Services GmbH and its managing director, Soufyan Loukili, could not be contacted or located at the official company headquarters in Cham. Astrid's experience serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the importance of vigilance when dealing with unexpected republic services, especially in emergency situations.
