Revamped Scorpio-N Steals the Show with Stunning Design, Thrilling Performance, and Cutting-Edge Tech

The all-new Scorpio-N, a masterpiece crafted from scratch, has boldly entered the SUV category with its captivating design, pulse-pounding performance, and top-notch tech. This puppy's no pushover; it's setting trends and redefining expectations.

Mahindra unleashed the highly-anticipated all-new Scorpio-N in South Africa just a couple of days ago. Back in June, the world got a sneak peek of this beast during its simultaneous reveal in India and South Africa.

The all-new Scorpio-N is the worthy heir to the iconic Scorpio's legacy, and it's already made heads turn in India, where it garnered an impressive 100,000 bookings in just 30 minutes! South Africans have been eagerly awaiting this dynamic duo ever since.

Built from the ground up with no legacy components, the Scorpio-N leaves its competitors in the dust by excelling in all key areas – performance, capabilities, technology, sophistication, ride and handling, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), interiors, appearance, and above all, safety.

This SUV broke new ground, becoming the first body-on-frame SUV to secure a 5-star rating in the Global New Car Assessment Programme's (GNCAP) revised crash-test protocols, which took effect on 1st July, 2022.

With a price tag of approximately R3.4 billion, the Scorpio-N was crafted at a state-of-the-art facility in Chakan, Pune, India. The production line itself boasts high-automation capabilities.

The Scorpio-N's third-generation body-on-frame platform was expertly engineered to deliver a safe, comfortable, and exhilarating ride experience while maintaining the essential SUV qualities.

The Scorpio-N takes machismo to new heights. The signature wheel arches have been beefed up to reflect the rippling muscles of a swimmer, while the metallic Scorpio tail element is elegantly integrated into the beltline, giving the Scorpio-N a stronger stance. From its commanding front to its powerful rear, the Scorpio-N is a force to be reckoned with. It will be offered in six body colors, including Deep Forest, Napoli Black, Everest White, Red Rage, Dazzling Silver, and Grand Canyon.

The Scorpio-N's powerful engine, combined with its advanced third-generation body-on-frame platform, propels it to the top of its class in terms of structural rigidity, off-road capability, and on-road manners. The vehicle's mHawk (diesel) engine boasts 128.6 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque, ensuring its place as a leader in the segment.

Clean Conscience

The all-new Scorpio-N takes environmental consciousness to a new level. With its cutting-edge engineering and product development, it boasts the lowest CO2 emissions in its segment. The vehicle employs innovative technologies to achieve this reduction, such as the latest generation dip paint (CG 800 CED coating) and low RRC tyres, reducing CO2 emissions and overall energy consumption by 10 percent. Mahindra has also implemented environmentally friendly manufacturing processes to reach its goal of carbon neutrality.

The Scorpio-N conquers all terrains with its revolutionary 4XPLOR, a first-in-class intelligent terrain management technology. Its electric shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel-drive system transforms the Scorpio-N from 2WD mode to a formidable all-terrain beast with the touch of a button. The Scorpio-N offers three driving modes to match the driver's mood – Zip for smooth city cruising, Zap for true Mahindra SUV performance, and Zoom for an engaging, exhilarating ride.
