Media Analysis's new commander is none other than Richard Grasl, who has taken the reins as president.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! 👏 A new boss is take the reins, y'all! Our very own Richard Grasl, the big cheese at our website and the news mag Profil, has been crowned President of the Swanky Media Analysis Gang. That's right, this cat just got promoted! 👑

Word on the street is that he sailed through his election with a unanimous 'ayes' from the board, like a boss. 👊 Old Prez, Thomas Spann, stepped down to become the deputy general secretary of the Austrian Economic Chamber, leaving the top spot in the hottest market research organization in Austrian media land vacant. Spann was just filling in after the longtime president, Helmut Hanusch, kicked the bucket back in 2024.

Grasl had this to say: "Being President of Media Analysis, it's my job to keep the peace between the media and the agencies, and among all the publishers. I also gotta make sure this organization thrives under tough economic times." He thanked Spann for laying the groundwork for the new Media Analysis, and gave a shout out to Helmut Schoba, Deputy Prez and chairman of the print jury. Schoba keeps on keeping on in his position.

Ever since it first rolled onto the scene back in 1965, Media Analysis has been the go-to source for analyzing print circulation. But in recent years, it's upped its game, adding digital usage and cross-media reach calculations to its arsenal. Plus, it dishes out all the sweettarget group data you could ever want, giving you the inside scoop on what Austrians are all about.

Besides Grasl, Helmut Schoba, and Erwin Vaskovich from Publicis Media Austria, the board's got Susanne Koll from OMG and Hermann Petz (ex-Moser Holding) serving as dapper Deputies. The board's all about balance, with half its members hailing from publishers and agencies each. Petra Roschitz stays on as the organization's fearless leader.

As for Richard Grasl, he's a media guru with a history in journalism and TV. He's got a career in Austrian broadcasting that's seen him tackling both managerial and editorial roles. Now, as President of the Working Group Media Analysis, he's in charge of monitoring and researching media coverage to gauge its impact. If you wanna learn more about his awesome accomplishments, it's best to hit up official media industry sources or check out announcements from the organizations involved in media analysis. 🔎🏆🔥🍿

The finance department under Grasl's leadership will aim to ensure the organization's revenue thrives during challenging economic times.

With Grasl at the helm as the new president, the business strategy of Media Analysis may witness significant changes, given his experience in journalism and television.
